Saturday Sun

13 Jul

Crowded House‘s new album, Intriguer was released today in North America.  While most of my friends were loving NKOTB during our younger years, I was loving Crowded House.  I haven’t had a chance to go out to buy it, but I will at some point.  Here’s the first single.  Loving the vibe.  Hating Mr. Finn’s stache.  It’s really unnerving me.

Also, I’m sad that they’re not coming to Winnipeg on their tour this year.  *heart broken.*

awwww… you love them too? Man, when I was younger, I got so much flack for it. Crowded what??? And I went to see their concert a few years ago and this woman beside me said “Aren’t you a little young to like Crowded House?” WTF. Music is boundaryless. Anyone can like it. whoa, i’m getting heated!! lol…

I think the video is great. The sound is definitely different from what I’m used to but in a good way.

      Dear Mr. Finn,
      Please remove your “lip wig”.
      Thank you.

omg, I’ve never heard a stache called a lipwig! BEST!

Ooh, his mustache is so weird. It’s like 70′s porn star mustache, but I enjoyed the song-these guys are cool. I listened to it while I did my weights…
p.s. your so sweet for going through all my posts and leaving comments, Jenn. Thanks Mamita, Stella

ugh… I wanted to say that… 70s porn stache, but thought otherwise. He looks like a creepy old man. *sigh*. lol…
You do weights? Wow! I need to tone up and do weights, but I lack the motivation. Just 25-30 mins on the elliptical for me. And I feel guilty if I miss a day.

awww…. no problem. I love reading your blog Stella :) Why would I not read and comment on them all??
      xoxo

YAY!! Maybe I’m finding that food bloggers love Crowded House? Could there be a correlation? They are so fun to watch live. Sadly, I’ve never seen them with Paul Hester. He left halfway through the tour I went to see them and then he had already passed by their last album… :(
hahaha… which song did you slowdance to? I played “Just Dance” and there was step by step. very fun to play… lol… And of course you upgraded! He buys you groceries, cookbooks, and loves you unconditionally :)
awww…. thanks B! You are the bestest xoxo

NKOTB takes me back to my middle school days. I had the biggest crush on Joe McIntyre. I came of age (in puberty terms) when NKOTB came out. I think Crowded House came before them and thought they were for the “older” people, which meant the high schoolers in middle school lingo. :)
